- community building and hospitality
- welcoming and home visiting programs, reaching out to
newcomers, the alienated, inactive and unchurched of the community
- train parishioners in evangelization (sometimes coordinating with Social Justice & Peace)
- sponsor social activities for parish fellowship (Parish dinners,
coffee and donuts after Mass, etc.)
- develop and promote stewardship within the parish, and conduct
periodic surveys and follow-ups (coordinating with Finance)
- to publish parish communication, help with mailings, and to assist
in the preparation and distribution of the parish bulletin
- to cooperate with the Worship & Spirituality commission in
conducting the adult catechumenate
- to host receptions after special liturgies, especially related to
the catechumenate and the sacraments.
